নর্থ ইস্ট ইউনিভার্সিটি বাংলাদেশে (এনইইউবি) ইউএনডিপি ফিউচারনেশন কর্তৃক আয়োজিত দিনব্যাপী এমপ্লয়েবিলিটি মাস্টারক্লাস সেশন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে এনইইউবির অডিটরিয়ামে এ প্রোগ্রাম অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন- নর্থ ইস্ট ইউনিভার্সিটির ভাইস-চ্যান্সেলর প্রফেসর ড. মোহাম্মদ ইকবাল।

প্রধান বক্তা হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন- বাংলাদেশ কৃষি মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপসচিব, বিডার সাবেক পরিচালক জুলিয়া জেসমিন মিলি।

অনুষ্ঠানে সেশনের সূচনা বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন ইউএনডিপির রিজিওনাল স্কিলস হাব ফ্যাসিলিটেটর আব্দুল হক কুরাইশি।

এছাড়াও অনুষ্ঠানে ইউএনডিপি ফিউচারনেশন এর স্বেচ্ছাসেবক মো. আশরাফুল, মো. আরিফুর ইসলাম হিমেল, সৈয়দা তাহুরা করিম, মো. ওয়াহিদুল আওয়াল সানি, এবং শিবানী বৈদ্য উপস্থিত ছিলেন। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিভিন্ন বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান ও শিক্ষক এবং শিক্ষার্থীবৃন্দও সভায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতে নর্থ ইস্ট ইউনিভার্সিটি বাংলাদেশ -এর পক্ষ থেকে জুলিয়া জেসমিন মিলি -কে ফুল দিয়ে শুভেচ্ছা জানানো হয়।

গভায় প্রধান অতিথি প্রফেসর ড. মোহাম্মদ ইকবাল তার মূল্যবান বক্তব্যে শিক্ষার্থীদের দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন ও চাকরির যোগ্যতা বৃদ্ধির প্রয়োজনীয়তা সম্পর্কে গুরুত্বারোপ করেন।

অনুঠানের প্রধান বক্তা জুলিয়া জেসমিন মিলি তার অনুপ্রেরণামূলক বক্তব্যে ক্যারিয়ার ডেভেলপমেন্ট, সমস্যা সমাধান এবং সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণের দক্ষতা বিষয়ে আলোচনা করেন। তিনি শিক্ষার্থীদের সঙ্গে সরাসরি মতবিনিময় করেন, তাদের জীবনের লক্ষ্য সম্পর্কে মতামত শোনেন এবং সঠিক দিক নির্দেশনা প্রদান করেন।

অনুষ্ঠানটি সঞ্চালনা করেন ইউএনডিপি ফিউচারনেশনের স্বেচ্ছাসেবক মো. ওয়াহিদুল আওয়াল সানি।

Employability Masterclass Organized by UNDP Futurenation.

An Employability Masterclass session was organized by UNDP Futurenation at North East University Bangladesh.

The session was graced by Julia Jesmin Mily, Deputy Secretary of the Bangladesh Agricultural Ministry and Former Director, Sylhet Division, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), who attended as the Keynote Speaker.

The event was also honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, Vice-Chancellor of North East University Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest.

Among other distinguished guests were Mr. Abdul Hoque Quraisi, Regional Skills Hub Facilitator, UNDP Futurenation Sylhet, along with the Heads and Faculty Members from various departments of the university.

UNDP futurenation volunteers Md. Ashraful, Md. Arifur Islam Himel, Syeda Tahura Karim, Md. Wahidul Auwal Sany, and Shibanee Baidya were also present at the event.

At the beginning of the session, Julia Jesmin Mily was warmly welcomed with flowers on behalf of North East University Bangladesh.

The session commenced with an opening speech delivered by Mr. Abdul Hoque Quraisi, Regional Skills Hub Facilitator, Sylhet.

The Chief Guest, Professor Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, delivered his valuable speech highlighting the importance of employability and skill development among students.

The Keynote Speaker, Ms. Julia Jesmin Mily, delivered an inspiring speech focusing on career development, problem-solving, and decision-making. She also interacted with students, listened to their thoughts on career goals and provided them with insightful guidance on setting and achieving their aims in life.

The event was hosted by Md. Wahidul Auwal Sany, a volunteer of UNDP futurenation.

A seminar titled “Unlock a World of Opportunities” was organized today by UNDP FutureNation at North East University Bangladesh (NEUB). The event was graced by Professor Dr. Engr. Mohammad Iqbal, Vice Chancellor of NEUB, as the Chief Guest.

Among the distinguished guests were Professor Dr. Ranjit Kumar Dey, Dean of the School of Humanities & Social Sciences; Professor Md. Harunur Rashid, Department of English; Md. Samsul Kabir, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English; Dr. Arif Ahmad, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Dean of the School of Natural Sciences and Engineering; and Rebeka Sultana Chowdhury, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Business, and Dean of the School of Business. Faculty members from various departments were also in attendance.

From UNDP FutureNation, Mr. Abdul Hoque Quraisi, Regional Skills Hub Facilitator of Sylhet, attended the event. The UNDP FutureNation volunteer team at NEUB — Md. Ashraful, Md. Ariful Islam Himel, and Shibanee Baidya — were also present. The program was hosted by Md. Wahidul Auwal Sani.

During the event, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Engr. Mohammad Iqbal delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of UNDP FutureNation’s learning opportunities and encouraged students to take full advantage of them to develop future-ready skills. Professor Md. Harunur Rashid and other guests also shared their valuable insights with the audience.

Mr. Abdul Hoque Quraisi gave a detailed presentation on the various UNDP FutureNation courses and their benefits. He also engaged with students in an interactive question-and-answer session, addressing their queries and providing guidance on the enrollment and learning process.

The seminar concluded with an expression of appreciation from the attendees, underscoring the significance of such collaborative initiatives in empowering students and opening new avenues for their academic and professional growth.

Following the seminar, Mr. Abdul Hoque Quraisi held a round table meeting with Professor Dr. Engr. Mohammad Iqbal, Vice Chancellor of NEUB, along with the Deans and Heads of various departments. The meeting focused on fostering long-term collaboration between UNDP FutureNation and NEUB. Discussions highlighted potential partnerships in skill development programs, student engagement initiatives, and capacity-building projects aimed at enhancing employability and innovation among NEUB students.
