Department of Computer Science and Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) w at North East University Bangladesh (NEUB) was established in 2012 with the mission to educate students in the field of ICT from all over the country, including those from rural areas, so that they become enlightened individuals.Â
The department of computer science and engineering is currently offering one program. The name of the program is B.Sc.(Engg.) in Computer Science and Engineering.Â
The program offers the most comprehensive studies in the field of computer science in Bangladesh. The aim is to train computer science experts and developers with a balanced understanding of the field, capable of considering the user, the technological, the environmental, and the societal points of view.Â
Computer Science and Engineering at NEUB prepares students for wide range of career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, software engineering, computer networks, data communication, multimedia processing, hardware and computer system design, and internet and information technology. Graduates can expect to take up jobs in government departments, software companies, service organizations such as banks, airlines and public utilities, commercial organizations, and the manufacturing sector.Â

CSE department is working on the following missions:
M1 Provide quality learning experiences through effective classroom practices, active learning styles of teaching, and opportunities for meaningful interactions between students and faculty.
M2 Provide students with high-quality state-of-the-art education that enables them to contribute to the economic and well-being of humanity, observing the highest standards of ethics and effectiveness in the exercise of the computing profession.
M3 Conduct cutting-edge research in areas of national need, with the collaboration of other disciplines as well.
