Welcome to NEUB CSE Society
Introduction:
The CSE Society is a non-political organization within the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department at North East University, Bangladesh. It is the largest organization comprising both students and faculty members of the CSE department. The objective of the CSE Society is to promote awareness of Computer Science and Engineering among students by organizing various technical activities such as lectures, workshops, quizzes, and excursions. Additionally, the society aims to foster relationships among past and present students and faculty by organizing departmental events, including the annual celebration, fresher's welcome, and farewell gatherings.
Executive Committee:
The CSE Society is managed by an executive committee, which is led by the Head of the Department of CSE, who serves as the President of the society according to the constitution. A Treasurer is also appointed by the President from among the faculty members of the department. The remaining executive members of the society are selected from the student body, with nominations made by the faculty members. The current executive body of the society for the 2024-25 session is as follows:

The society will organize events with approval described below but are not limited to:
- Seminars
- Workshops and Tutorials
- Study tours
- Blood Donation
- Software fair
- Arranging different programs (for example Electronics fair, Math Olympiad, Informatics Olympiad, Job fair etc.)
- Career Counseling
- Gaming Competition
- Programming Contest
- General Knowledge / Quiz Competition
- Cultural program (with prior consent of the advisor of Cultural Club).
- Other activities which will be decided by the executive committee.
