Admission and Registration Procedure
Admission:
Admission application forms are available for Tk. 500 (Tk. Five Hundred Only) at NEUB Admission office.
A complete admission application includes:
- Filled out admission application form;
- Four passport size photographs;
- Clean copies of certificates and mark-sheets (attested**);
- Two letters of recommendation/testimonial from previous institutions; and
- Photocopy of National ID Card/Birth Certificate/ Nationality Certificate from Mayor/Councilor/Chairman of Union Porishad or Ward Council.
** Qualified applicants need to show the original transcripts and certificates and get the copies attested from Head of the Department/Registrar/Admission Office.
Registration Number/Identification Number:
While performing the admission process a qualified student will get a Registration Number (ID) from Admission office using which, s/he must complete admission procedure by paying the admission fee (non-refundable) to NEUB accounts office/NEUB selected Banks. With this Registration Number the student will be traced throughout his/her academic tenure in NEUB. An applicant, however, forfeits the right of admission if the Admission Fee is not paid by the due date. Applicants are notified of such due dates by notice posted at NEUB Notice Boards.
Obtaining an ID Card:
During admission, the qualified students are required to fill an ‘ID card Registration Form’ and submit it to the admission office. After submission, the students are advised to collect their ID Card upon notice from the Admission office.
Re-admission:
If a student does not register for two or more consecutive semesters without approved leave of absence, s/he will be treated as an irregular student. S/he must pay a re-admission fee for his/her continuation of the program.
