Biography

Ms. Ishrat Sharmin Lisa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at North East University Bangladesh. She completed both her BBA (2017) and MBA (2018) in Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) from the North East University Bangladesh. She began her academic career as a Lecturer in 2018 and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2023. Her teaching and research interests include AIS, auditing, corporate governance, and the application of emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain in accounting. She is passionate about bridging the gap between traditional accounting practices and digital transformation while guiding students in both academic and research activities.
