NEUB Tourist Club is the first travel based organization among the private universities in Sylhet and it started its pleasant journey on May 10, 2015 with a view to promoting Eco-tourism nationwide and exploring the beauty of nature.
By moving together, the members of NEUB Tourist Club will gather empirical knowledge and eventually they will endorse green tourism to bridge continents with care. NEUB Tourist club was formed with the guidance of its founder Advisor Mr. Thanvir Ahmed Chowdhury (Associate Professor, Dept. of Applied Sociology & Social Work) to uphold the image of the university by taking numerous activities within the framework of travel and tourism.
It was primarily formed to give the students some relief from the continuous pressures & gravities of study & exams and to meet up their needs of traveling. This illustrious club has already started its national tour and they will continue their journey of success by arranging international tours as well. It has successfully organized first national tour in naturally gifted Bandarban and Cox’sbazar in May 2015 with utmost sincerity and explored many hidden transcript of beautiful Bangladesh.
This is one of the vibrant clubs of NEUB and in immediate future it will surely grasp a position to a new height.
